Great Grey Shrike
A trip over to Lincolnshire during the week resulted in this magnificent great grey shrike.It took some finding following some dodgy directions but well worth the trip.

My name is Martin Standley, I have been interested in wildlife all my life but recently my inteerst has increased because of my new found hobby-digiscoping. For anyone who doesn't know this is attaching a telescope to a compact camera and taking close up photos (rather like a telephoto lens) My equipment consists of a kowa823 scope 27x and 32x lenses,a manfrotto tripod and either a Nikon Coolpix 8400 or P5100 camera.
